Ensworth Grandmother Shares Stories of Being at Mission Control During the Moon Landing

Last week's High School Grandparents & Special Friends Day included more than just classroom visits. Grandparents also shared some of their own experiences. Rosie Graham, the grandmother of Claire Kurtz '25, visited Mary Catherine Bradshaw's Women's Literature class.
Rosie shared captivating stories from her time working with NASA, painting a vivid picture of what it was like to be in Mission Control during the groundbreaking Moon landing in 1969. Imagine being part of such a pivotal moment in history!

Claire had the unique opportunity to interview her grandmother about her professional life. Mrs. Graham spoke about how experiences mold a person and how to take advantage of the situation if you're in the right place at the right time.

Thank you, Mrs. Graham, for this inspiring and enlightening visit on Grandparents & Special Friends Day!
